I'm giving away a new High-Res sIBL every month. Been doing this
for almost 5 years now, amassing a huge sIBL
Archive. Some of them are also on display in the Pano Gallery.
All my panos are shot with a 10.5 mm Fisheye on a Nikon D300s,
stitched into fully spherical HDR panoramas with PTGui. If you want
to know more about the process, get the HDRI Handbook. You'll also find a whole
year's supply of HighRes sIBL-sets on the companion DVD.
Hurray, now you have the series complete! This is the night
version of the ever so popular Helipad_Afternoon and
Helipad_GoldenHour
sets. Long-time collectors may have already found this night
version on a 3DWorld DVD sometime in 2010, so it's about time it
gets a permanent place in the archive.
Turns out, the night version is the most versatile of them all, we
used it many times at work to light helicopters for the TV show "Chuck". My
friend Christophe
Desse (who made a lot of great Gnomon Workshop DVDs and just became a
lecturer at Otis College of Art and Design) also had a bit of fun
